On 26th August 2024, Nalanda English Medium School, celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami with enthusiasm and joy, to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna. The Kindergarten students came dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. They were accessorized with colorful bangles, odhnis and peacock crowns to set the Janmashtami mood. Special assemblies were conducted wherein the students swayed to the tunes of traditional/ devotional songs. The secretary of SSPA Prof. Dr. Mohan Pai and today’s Chief guest Mrs.Teena Kamath graced the occasion. Price distribution for various competitions held in our school were given away by our chief guest. Educational speech was delivered by our secretary Prof. Dr. Mohan Pai to the students to make them aware of the preachings of Lord Krishna. Dance performances were presented by the students The happy and excited students also participated enthusiastically in devotional songs. The teachers instilled the value of self-worth and introspection in the students. The celebrations ended by distribution of sweets. The day was a delightful divine journey for the students.
