Krishnashtami is observed on the Astami tithi, the eighth day on the dark half or Krishna Paksha of the month of shravana.
On Wednesday 06/09/2023, the students of Nalanda English medium school and Shri Srinivasa Patashala Oriental High school celebrated Janmashtami.The students of pre-primary came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna. A splendid colourful program was organised by the children and staff of the school, where students presented bhajans, dance performances and an awareness on Janmashtami, the mythological stories on Janmashtami, Were presented to children through dance form.
Program concluded with bhajans and aarthi to the almighty lord.
